Though they weren't in the same band, I always thought David Lee Roth was copying Jim Dandy Mangrum of Black Oaks Arkansas and didn't quite measure up. Thoughts?

David Lee Roth (how is this even a question???)
Don't know who either of them are.
Don't know who either of them are.
Don't know who Ronnie James Dio is.
Tough call... different eras, both great. Bon Scott by a hair.

I liked DLR and Sammy Hagar. Just consider them to be different bands.

However, in 2002, David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar went on tour together. "The Sam and Dave Tour". Wife, daughter and I went. We had a great time, but DLR was a caricature of his former self. Got too drunk, couldn't sing, went out of his way to be confrontational with his fans. Sammy , on the other hand, sounded great and saved the show.

Dave Mustaine. You should have asked.

You're right. I liked them both. But without Mustaine getting booted out of Metallica, there would have been no Megadeth.

Peter Green, without a doubt. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac was the best version. I met Mick Fleetwood recently and told him so.

This is an awesome pic, Dog! I am really jealous.

Ooooh. Whole kitten kitten kitten. I met him too. It was 1994. And he shook my hand and signed my book with his trademark happy face. My legs were like spaghetti noodles, and I almost fainted. Gee whiz I'm impressed with this!!
