Never posted anything before. Been logging for 11 days straight. Started at 286 now down to about 230-235. I have been doing keto pretty strictly until a few days ago and I’ve just been staying under my calories. Anyway I think that’s what I’m supposed to cover on this post lol 😂

    I was doing low carb since October, I started at 286 in October and have lost 50 pounds doing low carb. It has been working well for me but I think I hit a wall because I would eat low carb stuff all the time, so I was researching and figured I’d been eating to many calories that’s why I started logging with mfp to keep that in check. I do believe low carb works tho. It has for me at least. I also run at least three days a week and doing cardio circuit training.

    You're losing more than 12lbs a month? That is quite a fast rate and more than is generally recommended. It is generally suggested to not lose more than 1% of your body weight per week.

    Well I was happy with the way the weight was coming off but now it has slowed down a lot. Before I started caring about my weight I literally ate junk all the time and had tons of coke in a day. I added it up the other day and was consuming roughly 4500 calla day in fast food and soda. So maybe when I drastically changed my diet it worked quick at first with a lot of water weight and what not. I’m not sure but happy with the way it came off. Not happy with how it slowed down.
