I'm going to go with a no here. I let my son watch about 15 seconds of the Simpsons and now he is telling people that dadies do this, and mock chokes himself how Homer chokes Bart. If I had let him watch Empire strikes back, the last thing I need him saying is that daddy is going to cut my arm off.

    just saying.

Depends on the kid, IMO. My nephew was watching them at a very young age (by 3, I believe). My son didn't get to see any until he was 6 1/2. And he still has not seen Episode 3... I know him well enough to know it would legit scare him. On the flip side, I still won't let him watch the Simpsons.

I thought you were talking about the red shoes/crocs on the kid on the right side of the bench till everyone else responded to the Star Wars costume. Anyways, i was going to say it's very odd to let a kid wear crocs and hi white socks.

    Just kidding of course.

BTW, we are rolling out Salesforce.com at work today and the theme of the rollout is Star Wars so there are a bunch of grown men and women running around with light sabres dressed in Star Wars costumes so it seems totally normal to me today.

My husband actually dresses like Vader often and have light saber duels with the kids in the front yard . So this is completely normal compared to my house.

this actually reminds me of that VW superbowl ad from a couple of years ago with the little kid dressed like Darth Vader. definitely one of the better ads i've ever seen.
