I binged yesterday

I ate way too much yesterday. I went to a birthday party yesterday, and expected to go over my calories. I wanted to enjoy all the food at the cookout and have a piece of cake. Except I just didn't stop. I just logged what I at and I went about 1400 over my daily goal. I'm not worried about that.

I'm training for a half marathon as well, and I run my longer runs on Mondays. I went to bed last night sick to my stomach with how much I ate, and it still felt upset when I woke up. I forced myself to have a little bit to eat before I ran, but it wasn't much. My run today was a 10k, and it's 2 pm, and I'm still not hungry at all. Should I force myself to eat some more or wait until I'm hungry?

One day is not going to make or break your efforts.

Think of it this way, if the other 6 days this week were on track and you averaged a 500 cal per day deficit you're still going to finish the week with a 1,600 cal deficit. Maybe not on target but good nonetheless.

I suspect that not eating will be more damaging to your half-marathon training - you need fuel for your runs but if you're genuinely not hungry........eat when you are.
