Hi!
Sooo hungry since being placed on high-dose synthroid ( had my thyroid completely removed for cancer a year ago). Doing very well, but my appetite is crazy! The good news: am able to eat without gaining more weight, BUT, I still have an extra 15-20 pounds I have been carrying around for the past 15 years. I am ready to shed them....

i've been on levothyroxine (generic of synthroid) for 5 years now after having my thyroid removed); as long as your levels are good (how often is your endo running bloodwork? are they doing a full thyroid panel?) you should have no issues losing weight like a normal person (typically hypothyroidism only reducing daily calorie burn by like 60kj so not significant at all

I'm on Levothyroxine too due to a thyroid removal and am losing steadily. I'm not hungry either. Maybe you should get your levels checked and discuss your hunger with your doctor. If your medication is correct, you shouldn't be hungry like that.
