Ok so I weigh everyday and use Libra to track my progress I have scales that you can have several people on by inputting height weight etc well today I just hopped on quick and it gave me a number but then I selected my program and it came up with a different number 3lbs lighter
now I don't know which number to put into libra and why was there such a difference?

Go with the 3 pounds heavier. You know, the 3 pound lighter weight is not real data point if you have been weighing yourself everyday. It is just noise.

Well I'm either 1lb lighter than yesterday or 2lbs heavier depending on which I go with0

Its just one weigh in. I've skipped weigh ins and just input the missing number as the same weight as the previous one. Hardly matters in your long term trend line.
Pick a number or split the difference.5 -
I know it's not a big deal in the whole scheme of things I was just wondering why the difference between my program and "guest" weight when it was the same time of day, clothes etc surely I should weigh the same whether I'm on a program or not2

It is gravitational pull of the sun.2

my scale will knock off two pounds if i step off then step back on. every single time. so i just either always go with the first number or always step on twice for the confidence boost. if i were you, i'd just ignore today's weigh in and come back in a few days.0

Using the program I was 3lbs lighter just stepping on without telling it who I was made me heavier I did this twice both times gave me the same 2 different numbers. I weigh daily so I'll see what tomorrow says0

Since you weigh daily and use a trending app, just pick one setting and use that consistently. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things if you are really 165lbs or 167lbs, what you are looking for is that number trending down over time.1

I get your frustration! Mine were doing that so I picked them up and washed off the feet then put them in a permanent place in an unused bedroom. I decided that moving them every day to weigh was probably part of the issue and the little feet had dust and bits of my furry friends on them. Now I step on once a day and record it and I never move the scales. This seems to be helping.2

Unfortunately I don't have that option they are stored under my dressing table there is nowhere to have them permanently set up. I was down another .10 from the lowest weigh yesterday so I've gone with that0
