New to the community not the app

I used the app about a year ago never got serious with it. But enough is enough I need to buckle down and drop some weight. I started about a week ago serious. So any support would be greatly appreciated. Im at 0 friends. The food temptation is rough but i havent caved.

Hang in there! It takes a while to get in the groove but once you get into a routine you will find that you aren't fighting as hard to keep afloat. Good Luck and keep coming back to the boards for inspiration.0

Same here as far as new to the community, old to the app. If you have Facebook, search for fitness/ weightloss support groups in your area (or in general if you're not comfortable with things being close to home). That helped me stay motivated. As far as food temptation goes, it does get easier! I wish I could say it goes away and eating healthy will eventually come naturally, but that'd only be half true. For me it's been about balance and not total deprivation. If I know I want something that's awful for me, I'll balance it out by eating healthier options the rest of the day. Keeping those days to a minimum, I still get the crap food I really crave, and I'm not going overboard. Also try looking for healthier versions of your favs. Sorry for the paragraph, but hope it helps!! Hang in there, you've got this!!!0
