To achieve a body like this how long would it take? From your personal experience what’s your guesstimate?
How many days a week? Would you need a trainer for this?
I guess what I’m wondering is, is it harder than it looks? can you achieve this without thinking so hard, like a basic routine, lift heavy weights and done? Or do you have to be really strict.
For example I do squats, I have no clue how many I do I just do them periodically and randomly like when I’m waiting on toast. And I got a lil toning going on. No routine no special techniques just regular squats.
Would that be the same for arms and abs? Or do people make it seem more complicated than it seems.
Also, I’m just using her pic as an example.

It 100% depends where someone (you) are starting from.
Also to some extent genetics plays a part in how someone looks when they are lean due to bone and muscle structures etc.
IMHO It's better to focus on your own progress than someone else's results.18 -
That's a former WWE star - started in 2013. She is or was also a fitness model already prior to that. So staying in shape was part of her job.
Her name is Eva Marie.9 -
It's really hard to say. She looks pretty fit, she has good muscle base, genetics. I don't know where she started from or where you are starting from.
Generally it can take years of focused training, some bulk/cut cycles to build a good base.
I don't look like that but in order to reach my own personal physique goals (abs, glutes, legs, back, arms) it took me about 4 years, still working on it too. Not complicated but lots of hard work and consistency, yes.
If you are more serious about certain goals I would consider following a program to get better results. Doing random things will be very suboptimal and it will take much longer to get where you need to go ( unless you are very lucky with genetics on your side).11 -

How can you tell that she has good muscle base and genetics?
I’m just asking out of curiosity I hate lifting weights just because you have to be so consistent or else you’ll deflate I don’t see the point, well I see the point it looks awesome if I was lacking else where then I’d take it up to make up for an ugly face or something. I wish It was something I just enjoyed, I’m not into following programs- I don’t like to think so much. I like a simple diet, losing weight without counting calories... just simplicity. Are you on a strict program?
Low key thinking about it though.27 -

Well I just based it in the photo how she carries her weight and she is lower in bodyfat, lean but not too lean you can see she has a good distribution of muscle. I can't see her glutes though, .
It depends on your goals and expectations. If you want to look and be generally fit, do activities you love, ones that involve some cardio and form of resistance training . You don't have to lift weights but it is the easiest and most optimal way if you wanted to build strength, muscle, look similar to her or fitness modelesque.
I did follow a program for years but based on my own knowledge and experience have created my own which I do 3-4x per week. It's not complicated and I enjoy what I am doing.4 -
Oh and to add. In the past (before getting into lifting) I followed Beachbody type programs, ones that were more bodyweight, maybe some resistance bands. Cardio kickboxing, Jillian Michaels type stuff too. Did I look the way I do now? Not really, but I looked pretty awesome, fit and was happy with my physique overall.1

"How long do you think it took her to look like this?"
Just five minutes a day with this weird old trick that the fitness industry wants to keep secret....
In reality OP a hell of a lot longer than the amount of time and effort you are prepared to commit to from the comments you've made in this thread.
If you don't enjoy lifting then don't - but equally don't expect to look like someone who lifts seriously without training hard and long.48 -

Yup, Yup. This.

Comparison is the thief of joy.20

Her abs are a give away to amazing genetics and hard work.
Sadly, squats in the kitchen while waiting on bread to toast won't get this look. If it did I am definitely doing it wrong.15 -
Years.8

Just like anybody, it took there entire life to the moment of the photo shoot. She has been training for many many years and of course she has had some surgeries along the way to enhance her look.
For anybody to achieve there goals be it Aesthetics or otherwise there are many factors besides dedication. How you respond to training is one on the top shelf.
Another one veing the more male or less male one is can effect the results of training as well. Eva leans closer to the more male side and she works very hard.5 -
If you're asking if you can look like that without working hard and being consistent over a long period of time, the answer is no.
Also, why under 35?8 -
On the OP's question: It depends on what you have to start with. Healthy and at fairly normal weight, I think it's possible to get into decent shape in 6-12 months. This would require a solid lifting program (5-6 days/week training) and the nutrition plan to support the hard training. Also taking into consideration, that getting 'photo session ready' will take a good 6-8 weeks of that time.
However, IMO, this would be the easy part... As it is MUCH harder to maintain this athletic shape...0 -
Am I being obtuse if I asked why the OP chose that woman instead of one of the women here? It might be my older eyes, but quiksylver296 looks stronger and more muscular and JBanks?? Sorry if I got that name wrong - If that's her in her avatar is absolutely ripped.
And they post here and could answer questions...just thought it odd is all.

Decades...and she's a genetically gifted athlete. She is an athlete...she gets paid to train and stay in shape...she's doing far more than a few squats in the kitchen here and there waiting on the toast to be done. It not only takes years of dedication to develop that kind of physique, it takes years of continued dedication to maintain it.
I can guarantee you she has a very strict training regimen and also likely has a very strict diet plan.
This is kind of like asking if I could look like Dwayne Johnson by hitting up the local planet fitness a few days a week for 30-60 minutes and eating pizza.18 -

Wow, thanks for that! :blushing:
That photo is the result of good lighting, the right pose, and a little luck. But it is me.7 -

Plus it looks like she has fake boobs (not impossible to have big boobs with that low body fat but it is unusual), possibly hair extensions and fake tan. She probably cut and / or dehydrated herself before the photoshoot. Most fitness models say they can’t maintain their look permanently, they have to prep for shoots.
So yes if you’re genetically gifted (ie you have equal ab distribution, even fat distribution etc) start young enough and train several hours a day on strict diet, sure!7 -
She's now on Celebrity Big Brother and I have not seen her eat yet.....5

You don't deserve "woo" for admitting that lifting isn't your thing. You already know that you're not going to look like that without lifting. You've already been told truthfully that it will take years for an adult non-lifter to become as she is. What is your life? It's a collection of days and years. How do you want to spend those days? Those years? It may turn out that you do decide that lifting is your thing. I couldn't have predicted that I'd be doing keto a year ago. We learn. We think. We decide. We change.9 -
Nothing - she has an awesome physique and must work incredibly hard for it. But you asked how “To achieve a body like this”: I was merely pointing out that some of her body comes from surgery or enhancement!10 -

This seems a rather uninteresting set of questions when getting right down to it.
For the general case, there is no answer. For her specific case, just look her up online and see if she openly explains her routine. For the case of to achieve it for yourself, the question is entirely empirical and you can start researching it anytime you want, start by finding something heavy to pick up and put back down.4 -

Even if I trained like Dwayne Johnson, there's no way I'd ever look like that...not genetically predisposed.1 -

Oh same here. Very slightly above average is what I'm aiming for right now, and I'm good with that today.
That said, it does make me appreciate hard work that much more when I see it, and I believe the young lady in the pic has put some hard work into that physique. Props to her.1
