Hi all,
I am 55 and lost 20 pounds last year and gained it all back plus 2! :(
I gave birth to my youngest child 20 years ago and since that time I have struggled with weight loss. Prior to that, I never had a weight problem and stayed between 125-135lbs. I have finally come to the realization that I have some level of a food addiction and it plays a part in being consistent in making healthy food choices that nourish my body. I love eating a WFPB diet, and am committing to get my emotional eating habits controlled and make mindful choices. For me that means making Whole Foods the main part of my diet. I don’t eat meat, but have struggled giving up dairy and processed foods. It’s time for those to go, because I know that as I age I risk having health issues if I do not make it a priority. My realistic goal is to lose 50lbs, but 60 would be fabulous! I’d love the support and encouragement of others.
