Are you in a caloric deficit and your weight loss has plateaued? I would stay the course and be patient. If you lose 0.3 lbs over the next three weeks, it's still a trend in the right direction. You just have to be patient and accept the small wins. Even just maintenance should be seen as a win, not a time for desperate measures. "Metabolic confusion" as a strategy for weight loss sounds bunk and I would disregard any "experts" who back this idea. They're trying to get their piece of the pie using non-mainsteam woo science on frustrated weight loss seekers.1

Some athletes do calorie cycling and carb cycling. Supposedly to train muscle cells to use fuel more efficiently. But the premise of "metabolic confusion" for weight loss is not a scientific thing. Just woo.0

I agree - metabolic confusion for weight loss is a myth. The best thing you can do to help from hitting a plateau is measuring your calorie intake as accurately as possible. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1
What many people perceive as a plateau can sometime be water retention. Weight loss won't be linear. You are looking for a downward trend over time. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10702290/the-importance-of-this-phrase-weight-loss-is-not-linear1
