Hello I am starting on Monday (:

Does anyone have any meal prep ideas for someone trying to lose fat and gain muscle or tone up? I have already made my lunches. I cut up an entire zucchini ( I eat them raw lol ) and added a tsp of marinara sauce. Then I added 4 oz of tilapia. It equals up to 285 calories total. I don’t know what to do for breakfast yet or post workout (12 miles and maybe weights but I can’t lift much yet so it probably won’t make much of a difference currently) for dinner.

    Eat your carbs before you workout for energy that'll break down into sugars bananas, cereal, oats
    Then eat your protein after you workout for recovery and growth
    Salmon, Chicken, Ground Turkey
    To lose weight and get lean you need to be in calorie deficit so enter your information into goals section of myfitnesspal & whatever intake it tells you to consume to lose 1/2 lbs a week minus that by 100 calories a week until you reach the weight you're satisfied with. Aim for %40 protein intake %30 carbs %30 fats. Carbs are good for you if you time them right eat them before a workout.

    I like to eat a light meal before working out so it's not too much on my stomach but enough to give me energy for the workout. I usually eat a banana and yogurt or a bag of mixed veggies.
    As post workout meal, I always eat something low in fat but high in protein like turkey or chicken to help rebuild my muscles.
