Hi All! Im 36 and sick and tired of feeling so blah. I have about 30 lbs to loose. Im wondering if it is possible to lose weight with just countung calories and nothing else. Id love some insite!

    I think you could lose weight by counting calories and being in a deficit but it will take a long time and it is the healthy way of doing things.

    Quick answer: Yes. We're all doing it, or have done it, and it works.

    Longer answer: Yes. You can calorie count on its own without doing anything else different in your life, or you can eat a bit more when you calorie count by pairing it with increased exercise.

    The best method is the one that works for you.

    You’re Canadian it’s very possible my friend strict diet, sweat and make water your favourite drink

    Yup, just stay within your calorie goal. Get a digital food scale and weigh and measure everything you eat and drink everyday. Move more if you can--even walking is good to start. MFP will give you more calories to eat for exercising. Good luck.
