I am Doing Great Things with this app! I have been on here Since Jan 1st! I didn’t have a scale when I started this journey so I guessed my weight. I bought a scale and I was off 5 lbs. (not in the good way either). This did not discourage me, it made me more committed . I find I can not change the beginning weight on the app. Oh well!
I am very excited to say I am starting to achieving my goals. How exciting. I have logged on everyday since Jan 1st. I walk 2-3 miles everyday, and am now starting a yoga and Piyo program at my home. I have embraced the 30/30/40 Mediterranean way of eating. Exercise would be easier if I got rid of 20 more excess pounds. I am most comfortable around 150 for my 5'9" frame. I try to not say "lost, lose or diet" because I never want to FIND what I "lose "this time. I also don't want to ever go on a "diet"again. It is a healthy life and lifestyle I am looking for.
It works. Staying positive and feeling grateful everyday keeps me on this path.
I am 58 and this needs to be a lifestyle. I can honestly say I am not hungry. I actually eat more now. When I feel the sweet tooth coming; I peel a navel orange or have an Asian pear. It is amazing how that works!
I hope we all achieve our goals with food and exercise.
