I’m looking for friends who have either found success battling depression by changing their diet and lifestyle choices....or are trying to figure out how to better their depression by making these changes. In the past I was very active and made healthy eating choices....then pow! Like a sucker punch I was hit with depression which lead to being non-active and poor eating habits. I put on a lot of weight and still feeling down in the dumps. I’m hoping to stay motivated enough to climb out of my depression and better my mind, body, and soul. Who’s with me? Please friend me if you want to help motivate each other while battleing depression and making a change for the good.

I noticed a difference when I started eating better and getting out more, but it alleviates symptoms. They're not cures. I would still recommend therapy (not necessarily medication if you're not comfortable with it) to help get to the root of it. I find they go hand-in-hand really well.

My depression has gotten way better. Exercise and eating a little better is tough but worth it!
