The last 15 pounds - do I need to switch it up?

I started at 213 almost 2 years ago. I am down to 160 today but have been in this ballpark for about a year now. There were definitely lots of times I was up a few and down a few depending on how well I was doing/vacations/etc. My goal for now is to get to 145. The weight is much slower to come off at this point. Should I cut calories more (I'm currently at 1500/day to eat and burn around 2100-2300, depending on exercise) or just wait it out?

As you approach goal, your weight loss should slow down. Your body can only burn a certain amount of fat at a time, and the leaner you are, the less that amount is. With 15 lbs to go, you should be expecting an average loss of 0.5lbs - 1 lb per week.
Also keep in mind that as your deficit shrinks, your logging may need to become more accurate. When you have a big deficit, being off 25 cals here and 40 there isn't a big deal. But when you get down to vanity weight, your deficit is smaller and a 100 cal error can be a big deal.
Congrats on your success so far! Now is the time to start thinking about how you are going to transition to maintenance and what other goals you might want to work on :drinker:6 -
Set MFP to 0.5lb/week, understand you'll have to be super precise with your weighing and logging of food and be patient.3
