hello I was doing squats today I was noticing my left knee kept shaking i could barely finish my set. I went to do leg extensions and then my left again was shaking. I did not do anymore so i went on hamstrings curls then it was fine.

if you are only doing squats ever so often(3 weeks apart) its possible you were a bit too heavy for the set/reps.

my left knee was shaking so bad i could not control the shaking i thought something was going to pop so i stopped the exersise and went to hamstring curls and it did not shake on that.

Maybe you should warm up with body weight squats first, then try a set with just the bar. Sounds like it was too heavy. Either that or you were putting more weight on your left side and need to try to distribute the load more evenly.

warm up with leg extensions for knees, 45 degree leg press for the rest of your legs. Good prep for squatting as long as you dont go heavy, idea is to warm up the muscles.
