I third what the others have said. This makes me think you are undereating. You should immediately increase your food intake and see your doctor.

It's not so much keto, but too few calories and protein.

How are you tracking your calorie intake, and how many calories are you eating?

Blood work being done is a highly generic statement because there are different tests. Did you get copies of the results?

What specifically were you tested for? Iron and iodine deficiencies can both cause hair loss. These are not part of the standard yearly panel, even for me, who was first diagnosed as anemic in 1988 - I have to specifically request this test each year.

If it was part of a routine panel then it was just a complete blood count. It can help determine if you're anemic which can be caused by vitamin deficiencies but doesn't test specifically for those deficiencies or any others. If a CBC comes back normal that doesn't mean you're not deficient either. Hair loss doesn't just happen for no reason, so again I'd figure out what that reason is.

Not to mention different doctors have different levels of thoroughness. I have had two in the last 12 months. The first one ran blood tests and told me everything was normal and the second one tested for what seemed like everything under the sun and now I am on 5 prescriptions (some temporary). I knew the first one was missing at least one thing and I was right.

Also on a side note, evidence shows that collagen supplements are pretty much pointless.

Thanks everyone i think it was a generic test done so i will need to go back and ask for more specific tests 👍
