Can’t fail this time

Hi there. I am new here and looking for friends and like minded people to keep me motivated in my weight loss journey that I have failed and started multiple times in the past. This time the reasons for weight loss are serious and I have promised myself that I will not fail this time. I can’t. I want to start a family and I feel that my weight could be the reasons why it is so difficult. I can’t be lazy anymore.

Just remember that weight loss is a long term thing not a short "lose it and forget it" thing.
The reason why you likely failed in your attempts in the past is that like most "diets" you looked only at short term weight loss rather than changing your overall habits.
Losing weight and keeping it off mean a change in how you eat, exercise and live. There are no gimmicks, no fast or quick weight loss programs, just common sense and the will to keep your new habits going.
Slow weight loss (.5 to 1.5 lb per week) is the most you should expect if you want to keep it off.
Find out your calorie needs and work from there.
Weight loss isn't just about a caloric deficit so make sure you include a decent amount of exercise along with healthy eating. If you don't already exercise regularly, slowly start adding exercises every week...don't try to burn yourself out by doing everything all at once.1
