Not feeling well, not eating

I need some help. I don't feel well and just don't feel like eating. What do I log? It will not let me post daily food log without enough calories.

If you're sick, just eat what you can. Don't worry about your log. It's not like you'll lose your MFP account if you don't complete your diary. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Well... Don't log anything you didn't eat. Is there anything you can attempt to get down? Even if not feeling well, you need at least appropriate nutrition to get better. Maybe something more calorie-dense... If nausea, we may be able to recommend some things (nibbling some dense carbs, for example).

(Please note this advice is purely for if this has been a recent, on-going issue rather than a one-day rarity. One day is understandable, it can happen, I didn't get crap for nutrition yesterday due to surgery)

I got 3 teeth out yesterday and am on a liquid diet. I've still not hit my daily, I'm peeing constantly, and I'm so hunngrrryyy. Liquid isn't doing it for me.

But I'm still gulping stuff down, I need the calories to recover.

Closing your diary doesn't do anything except post to your timeline, and I'm not sure what the point of posting that you came in under your calorie goal because you feel sick is.

If you're worried about your streak, that comes from just logging into the app, not closing your diary.

Focus on taking care of yourself and post manually to your newsfeed if it's important to you. Feel better!

If you are having something like a stomach flu the normal recommendation is the BRAT diet: Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. That is in addition to everything on the liquid diet.

If you can't eat anything at least try and drink some sports drink of some kind.

We are pretty well designed to handle short periods with small amounts of food. Don't go so long that you are too weak to see a doctor though if needed. When I am barely eating 4 days is when I am either starting to feel better or calling to make an appointment with the doctor.

I want to thank everyone who replied. So far it is just today, we will see, I am a little nauseous, with a bit of chills thrown in for good measure. I have my yearly Dr. appointment on Mon. the 11th so if I'm still not feeling well I will talk to him then.
