Sharing dessert is just for when I'm already full and I only want to taste the dessert.

I plan usually to have something sweet every single day and leave 300 calories for that.
I do often share dessert when we're dining out though, its a great way to halve the calories

I made nutella cookies the other day--thin and chewy. 70 calories for one. VERY doable.

@snowflake954 thank you, they sound great  and I would have all those ingredients in my cupboards which is even better.
How long do they take to bake? temperature?

I made a pie for Christmas dinner and after using the recipe builder, it was like 500 calories for a regular slice!!! So I just cut a slice in half for 250 and enjoyed every bit of it.

doesn't work so well when you live alone :P but once I have selected my dessert you sure as hell better keep your paws away :P

I eat desert daily (actually twice daily lunch and dinner). I make it fit in my calories, make them useful (i.e. one is a home made protein bar so as much about adding protein as my chocolate fix) and make smart choices that fit my preference and calorie goal.

I just keep mine to 200 calories per serving or fewer. Works well.

Let me know how it works out. They are even better the day after. I just have them on the counter, haven't refrigerated them yet--I don't think they'll last long. I have 4 men in my house to feed.

I only share my dessert when I'm trying to be friendly. Usually with my husband or son. Any other time you risk having your hand stabbed by a fork. I eat dessert almost every day and don't feel the least bit guilty. I actually put the last lemon bar in my lunch today so I won't have to feel guilted into sharing with my hubby tonight >:)
