Summer Cut, 15 lbs. in 15 Weeks

Hi I’m Joey.
I’m starting my summer Cut this sunday. My goal is to lose 15 pounds by Memorial Day, may 27th, 15 Weeks from Monday. I’m currently 175 with a BF% around 18%. I want to be 161-162 and around 8-10% BF. It’s going to be difficult, but in the end I’ll hopefully feel accomplished and ready for the beach.

Hi! While I think that is a great and attainable goal to lose 15 lbs by memorial day, your math doesn't exactly add up for body fat percentage. You say you are currently around 18% at 175 lbs. That means you have ~143 lbs of lean body mass. To be 10% BF at 161 lbs, you would need 145 lbs of LBM. You will not gain (likely you will lose) LBM while cutting. At your goal weight, you will more likely be 12-14% BF. Just trying to give you some realistic expectations. Good luck!0
