If you mixed PB2 with the Roasted Peanut Oil from the same company (Bell Plantation) you'd have something that resembles peanut butter... but it would be way more expensive.
Smart company. Separating oil from peanuts and selling both by-products at higher prices.
Here's an idea...
1. Buy some peanuts. (or natural peanut butter and skip step 2)
2. Blend them in a powerful blender or food processor.
3. Put blended peanuts/natural peanut butter in a strainer and strain over a jar for several hours.
4. You now have reduced fat peanut butter, and a jar of peanut oil, at a fraction of the cost!
Really though... the only reason i use peanut butter (or other nut butters) is because i want to add more fat to hit my macros. I don't think i'd have a use for low-fat peanut butter.
*edit* Although... the more i think of it, i could probably find some uses for the chocolate PB2. But that's just because i love chocolate in everything. No, must exercise online shopping restraint! Cocoa powder is cheaper! *whew* That was close. Online shopping demon destroyed. There's my NSV for today. Haha0
