Cutting

I am cutting and have stubborn fat around my oblique area? Recommendations for targeting that area? I’m currently doing intermittent fasting; with my workouts right at the end of my 16 hour fast. I’m below my daily and weekly calories goal so am consistently losing .2 pounds a day. Anything else I can do??

    You can't spot reduce.

    Losing that much is way too fast to retain muscle.

    It's hard to see the decimal point before the 2..at first glance I thought it said 2 Lbs per day as well.

    I agree that you can't target fat loss.

    You are just gonna have to keep cutting until you are comfortable. (Which may never happen)
  • If you’re fasting, you want to weight train in your feeding window. Fasted cardio is okay, also make sure your protein intake is high, at least 1.2 grams per 1 pound of body weight. Just be in a slight caloric deficit, 1-2 pounds a week is very good, anything more you’re sacrifing muscle mass and have to up calories.
