Fitbit or Apple Watch?

So I’ve lost my Fitbit 😢
So now debating between Fitbit Versa or Apple Watch series 2?
Anyone used both and have any thoughts

Garmin, Apple - Too expensive, Fitbit I have had nothing but trouble with. I love my Garmin 235 but they have watches with many different capabilities at many different price points. Their GPS is spot on.

I think it depends on whether you want a fitness tracker that is a respectable smart watch or a smart watch that is a respectable fitness tracker.

Personally, I'm not an apple guy...I wouldn't like being tied into the Apple ecosystem...everything is outrageously expensive. For myself, I would go with a Garmin product.

I have gone through 4 fitbits, but I decided to get an Apple Watch in 2017 when Target had a sale on the series 2. I love my Apple Watch a lot more than the fitbits I had. I'm an Apple person though. I have an iPhone, Apple TV, etc. The Apple Watch isn't strictly a fitness watch though, so if that's all you are looking for then I would probably just do the Versa. It's a lot less expensive. I also know several people who have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 and they love them.

I just got an Apple series 4 - blue tooth for Christmas and I love it. Not only for fitness tracking, but staying organized and decreasing screen time overall.
