Positive Things About Your Body Shape

Thought I was a ruler shape, but apparently I'm a pear! Wasn't happy with knowing that at first but now I realize I'm so lucky!

I've never had a smaller waist, and that is something I strived for through dieting in my earlier years. Now with my changing body type, I'm able to see a considerably smaller waist after all without trying too hard (though I lost my skinny legs :P)!

So that's one positive thing for me.

What about y'all? What's one positive aspect of having the body shape you have?

Although I'm not really sure what "shape" I am, I guess I'd have to say my waist. For right now at least my waist is smaller than my boobs and hips.

I have an hourglass (hips and bust are within 2 inches of each other and my waist is about 10 inches smaller) which I really appreciate. I actually really like my shape, I just want less jiggle and to be slimmer all together. It's more of a stack of balloons shape rather than an hourglass right now. But still, I like it enough to see it as a positive.

lol! You just described me! Although my balloons are more of the larger variety right now.

What I like about my body is that it is getting smaller:)

I have a large frame and carry a lot of my extra weight in my belly.....I feel so damned manly sometimes. lol However, as I lose weight, I'm starting to remember I used to like my long legs when they were a little sleeker. Hoping to meet up with them again. And, as has been said, I love the shrinkage factor. : )

Same here! I always thought I was a ruler and after I lost weight I am definitely a pear! Once I figured out which clothes flatter my body shape best I really like being a pear. I love the size of my hips and thighs and how I look in dresses.

To all you lovely ladies who responded, your measurements sound great! It's really amazing what a little exercise and a lifestyle change (nutrition wise) can do for you. Strut your beautiful selves! Haha :flowerforyou:

My waist is crazy. My limbs are delicately tapered. A gay man in a corset shop once told me that I have the sort of body that makes other women green with envy. I can't believe I ruined it for so many years with up to 50lbs of extra weight! How can we be so mean to ourselves?
