Cross Country Ski Bindings...

I miss my SNS bindings from the 90's. They snapped on and off in a second with no bending and my Solomon boots were super comfy. I got new touring skis last year and apparently my only option was NNN bindings. You have to bend over, you can't use a ski pole and they are hard to turn with numb fingers (I have Reynaud's) and, to top it off, one broke the other day! My shop is happy to warranty them, but I'm not too happy with my setup. I guess they wanted me to have a stiffer boot for off-track trail breaking (best thing ever!), but the trade off don't seem worth it. I guess the response I'm hoping for here is for someone to help convince me that NNN bindings are great and that the break was a fluke.

I've got size 12 boots and the bindings to go with them. SNS both. Had to switch boots as either my feet shrunk or the folks that sold them to me did a bad job. Couldn't find and SNS boots so I switched bindings.1
