Battling a cold and hungry.

Been doing decent with food, but since this dreadful cold I got yesterday, I suddenly feel like I’m not getting enough food. I’m drinking heaps of water but don’t feel statisfed and desperate for sweet junky food.

How to ignore it? I have two kids so I can’t sleep it off.

Don't ignore it, your body is probably trying to tell you to help better fuel your immune system to fight off the infection, it can't do that very well in a deficit.

When I'm sick, I do not worry about calories. I can get back on track when feeling better.

Don't ignore it. You get hungry when you're sick for a reason. Your body needs fuel to repair and get better. Eat more for a couple of days.

So I have been coming down with a cold and I thought I was imagining the increased hunger. I guess it is real! I have been letting myself eat at maintenance for the past couple days and not worrying about it.
