How long do you wait before changing your calorie settings?

I was consistently losing around a pound per week up until last week. The last two weeks I’ve weighed myself I’ve been at the exact same weight. Do I give it another week at my current calories or should I decrease now? (And yes, I am weighing my food😁) Thanks in advance!

How long have you been losing? How much have you lost? Do you weigh daily or weekly?

I assume you are female, when is TOM?

Short answer, no. Don't adjust yet.

i'd give it 6 weeks before considering changing anything.

    Thanks for your reply!!
I’ve lost about 7 pounds in 2ish months. I don’t have a lot to lose and I have my goals set for 1/2 pound per week. TOM was last week for me. I will give it awhile longer before changing anything.

before changing calorie goal i'd take a few weeks of being super anal and careful and triple check weights and entries used for all food. especially as you get near the end. even with years of experience at this I am STILL finding issues with logging/weighing. it sounds stupidly basic but it isn't. there are always improvements to be made with logging and weighing.

but two weeks of no change is par for the course. at 0.5lb/week normal fluctutations can mask progress temporarily.
