"Recomp" success!

I did not actively set out to "recomp", but about 15 months ago started resistance training classes 4 times a week or so, using pretty heavy weights (For me, 20 lb free weights). Today, I went shopping and found out that I went down a size, but weight is up 3 lbs from last year! Not sure how I did not notice that I was smaller. But good news and shows the scale is just a number.
