Newbie at 60

Hi, I am a 60-year old male getting back to some form of fitness and weight control after many years of piling on the calories and the kilogrammes. I have a 20kg weight reduction target and a focus on lowering resting heart rate and blood pressure.

I am trying food intake recording for the firsat time to see if this helps me focus - I knoew what I need to do but it's the distractions that take their toll. I also like a beer occasionally.

Hopefully the community will help motivate me and I hope in turn that if I exceed my goals that will motivate others.
