I have been a member in and off over the years. I've got several birth defects, which as I approach 50 (next year), are starting to show their negative side. 😭
Due to the birth defects, I have osteoarthritis from my neck down, worst in my lower back, hips and knees. I recently learned at least my right hip bone, the "ball" in the ball and joint is not round but now flat. Flat and *dead*. The alive parts I'm in severe pain.
I am on narcotics (as I have low platets and any arthritis med is a huge no go!) and was prescribed a newer med to "newer" to keep things regulated. It works amazingly. It's designed to work with narcotics. I've noticed an amazing difference!

Next for me is to see about a hip replacement (both plus both knees would be ideal). Due to my platelets, it may never happen.
The hardest thing for me over the past 30+ years is the newly very limited mobility and the pain it's brought on. Over the past 30+ years I also stopped eating (after I moved out of my parents eating slowed down, weight INCREASED. This is where I need help. Eating. Eating the right things, the right amounts. Oh and decreasing soda, increasing water.

-thank you
