What are a GOOD set of DUMBBELLS???????

Options
I've been on the fence for 3 weeks now on what I want to get lol.

Its between Bowflex,Powerblock,and Ironmaster.

Im leaning towards ironmaster because they are more like real dumbbells and will last forever. The down fall on them is there not a quick adjustable dumbell as the other two are.

Powerblock is my second choice but Im not sure they will hold up

The bowflex Ive herd good things on the 552 but not much on the 90lbs ones. Some say there just to long and dont feel right.

Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated

thanks

I've been using the Powerblocks for about 5 years with no durability issues. They are quick change, always handy, holding up as well as they possibility could and afford weight changes in 2.5 pound increments. With additional kits, they go higher than I could ever want. ;-)

if you are considering free weights why not look at getting some used ones? I picked up my 300lb set for $25 online.
Also do your homework. A lot of these fancy machines and gimmick fitness equipment are absolute crap. Go online and read as many reviews as you can.

Ultimately the best form of exercise equipment is either at a local gym or your own body (isokinetic).
