Motivation is followed by action. Log your food every day. Even if over on calories. As accurately as possible. After a few days of logging consistently you will find ways to tweak your calorie intake.

I'd say your motivation is your frustration at not making progress. I agree with @emmamcgarity. Learning to log all food accurately and consistently takes some time. Just make your current portions slightly smaller and be patient.

Listen to this... there are time stands. 11:30 will probably be where you want to go to...

How much weight do you want to lose? And why do you want to lose it? What is your weekly weight loss goal, and how well are you logging your food and exercise?

I’d be frustrated too if I was stuck at the same weight since December. If you aren’t weighing and logging EVERYTHING, why not? I log it ALL: I log a 30 calorie roll of candy if I eat it because I’m only cheating myself if I don’t.

Figure out your why. At the end of the day it only works if you up and DO it. EVERY DAY.

Your motivation is the reason WHY you want to do this. It takes DISCIPLINE to consistently follow through and do.
