Road biker getting down to "riding weight"

Hello everyone, I'm a road biker (skinny tires!) and through every holiday season/January I pack on 15 pounds. I'm hoping to stop the weight gain after plugging into MFP because after 3 days of tracking my meals I feel like I'm in control again! I'd love to hear any success stories of getting down to a goal weight you set AND then staying at this weight LONG TERM!
I also let MFP search my FB friends and contacts and only found two MFP friends. :(
In other words, I'm looking for MFP friends! Thanks!
