I need help changing my eating habits and staying within my calorie budget

I have been struggling with my weight all of my life and I’m at a point in my life where I need to lose the weight and keep it off. My biggest struggle like most people is changing my eating habits. Breakfast is the worst for me because most breakfast recipes include eggs and I have come to realize that eggs don’t agree with me, even egg whites and egg substitutes don’t agree with me. I’m at a loss, any suggestions?

    Overnight oats with chia seeds? Many recipes online (eg, https://www.eatthis.com/overnight-oat-recipes-for-weight-loss/).
    My easy go to: add 1/4-1/2 cup dry oats and 2 tbspn chia seeds in a container. Add liquid of your preference (milk, almond milk, coconut milk, even 1/2 water and milk) to cover generously with extra liquid on top. Cover and leave in fridge overnight and add toppings: eg, fruits, apple sauce, cinnamon, nuts, maple syrup in the morning.

    This is pretty much my go to, except with ground flax in place of the chia. Load it with berries and you have a delicious starter to the day.
