New and not new

Hi, I'm new to the community but have been using MFP for nutritional info for my recipes. I've also been using my fitbit for logging food and steps. I just turned 67 and have been battling my weight all my life. Did WW years ago and kept it off for many years but slowly it crept back up and now I'm having a hard time dropping it! I went back to WW to see if it would help but I found WW different and very hard to follow. I also tried some other programs but I found that using the fitbit was less expensive and I did drop a few pounds but I need someone to hold me accountable and then and only then will I maybe loose some of these pounds!! But no matter what I will keep trying! Retired and happy!
