I think we'd need a little more information than that to help. What situations do you find yourself in where this is happening? How much do you eat and drink during these times?

I'd recommend starting off by trying to drink less. If you have to go somewhere where you don't feel comfortable not drinking, try to nurse one or 2 drinks throughout the night. I know if I drink a lot, I have less resistance to eating unhealthily and are more likely to binge when I am hungry. If you control the alcohol, it might help you control the food.

^^ this is good advice. Plus hangover eating. I’ve never found a way to master it once the drinking damage is done. How do you feel about moderating your drinking?

That is me. Alcohol is known for its effects on reducing inhibition in humans. One strategy I use - consume a glass of water along with each drink. Slows down the drinking - you feel fuller - less likely to binge.

There's always a lot of talk about "lifestyle changes" going on around these threads. If your weekend lifestyle choices aren't aligned with your fitness/weight loss goals they probably can't coexist. After spinning my wheels for about six months I took a close look at my logging and discovered I had huge data gaps on the weekends. The philosophy I adopted was that all calories count so I need to be counting all calories. Making that change made a big difference in how I approach all food/drink choices and subsequently improved how successful I am at controlling my weight and physique.
