How do you view someone’s diary? Do you have to message them first?

    They have to have the right settings. To see someone's diary it either has to be set to public or I think there's also an option to have it viewable to friends only. Most seem to keep it private.

    Click on a person's name from the forums. That will bring up their usercard. Then click on their name there and it should take you to their profile. If they have their diary set so that people can see it, you'll see a big green "View diary" button.

    Since the default setting is for diaries to be set to private and most people don't realize they can change those settings, you won't be able to view some people's diary. If they have it set to "locked with a key" then you'll need to know the passcode they use to view it.
