Gaining weight?!?!

Hi everyone! I started MFP in January- I’m 41, 5 ‘3 and started at 147. I got down to 135 - I’d love to see 132 to 133. I stick to 1200 calories (literally writing and measuring everything). I do 50-55 mins on the treadmill 4days a week and meet a personal trainer 2 times a week. The past 2 weeks my weight is creeping up- I’m up to 138 with no change to diet and tons of water. HELP!!!! I’m incredibly bummed out and losing motivation

    do you use a weight trending app? do you weigh daily or weekly? it may just be random timing showing you data that doesn't actually give you an overall picture of overall trend (maybe some extra water retention which will come off soon).

    do you use a food scale to weight all solids? are you logging everything you eat? every day?

    You’ve lost 12lbs in two months. That’s a lot and solid weight loss. I think you need to change some expectations. You’ll experience weight fluctuations frequently. I think that you’re being a bit too aggressive with your loss but you’re obviously losing so just need some patience. Also, if you’re a woman you’ll notice your menstrual cycle can cause some of these fluctuations.
