Hi all!
I am just finding this and have so far had some results losing a few pounds. I was 180 lbs. and 5'7 as of about 3 weeks ago. My body fat is around 23-24%. I want to get my weight down to around 165 before trying to bulk up to about 170 lbs. I have never do this before but am at 173 lbs now. It took me 3 weeks. I am doing good and actually really happy with the results. It's crazy how much info is out there about exercise and nutrition. I was never successful attempting to lose weight before because I didn't know anything about macros. This is fun now and I look forward to seeing more results. I do have a question for all the experienced people out there though. If my goal is to end up around 170 lbs with about 16-18% body fat, should I be losing weight first as I am doing before incorporating more resistance training to bulk? Or should I be doing the opposite? This dilemma is what I am trying to figure out? Thoughts?
