Adding workouts while using HR monitor?

I use Withings Steel HR to monitor my steps, activity and calorie expenditure. I am uncertain if after doing some activity, let´s say a spinning class, I should manually log such activity into MFP. Thanks!

Is it something that syncs with MFP?
If not, set your Activity Level in your Goals section without mentioning the exercise and then enter the exercise when you do it into the Exercise tab. Then eat most of those earned calories.

I agree with cmriverside. Rather than let my activity tracker or running watch automatically sync with MFP, I prefer to manually log all of my exercise activities. I have seen too many people experience issues with automatic syncing - either not syncing at all or labeling the exercise incorrectly (aerobics instead of spin bike, etc.) Plus I like to create my own exercises to more accurately reflect what I've done, such as specifying a track run instead of the generic "running at x pace" type posting. However, if your tracker is already automatically syncing the calories you don't want to double post by manually entering the activity too. So your answer begins with how you have the tracker set up, to automatically sync or not. If yes, don't post it manually, if no, then do.1
