Any need to diversify protein?

My protein macro is about 30-35%, which I usually meet over the course of the day with a combo of a whey protein shake, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and light cheese, sometimes a protein bar, plus some lean meats, maybe some eggs. However, I have the cheese/dairy a lot more often than I have chicken, fish and such - I was never a huge meat eater though I'm trying to increase. Often when I'm down a little on my protein for the day, I'll have another yogurt, not some turkey, for example.
I was wondering if there was any nutritional reason to diversify that protein consumption- are all protein calories equal? My digestive system seems ok with all the dairy, so that's not a concern, but didn't know if I should try harder to get different types of protein in daily. Thx!

Any protein that comes from animal sources (e.g. dairy and meat) are complete proteins and don't need to be diversified - at least, when you're thinking in terms of protein only. Other nutrients may differ, but that's more complex than eating more or less of one thing.
Only vegetable proteins need to be diversified, but over generations, the appropriate diversification formed combinations that we find pretty common (e.g. beans and rice together), so complete protein is often consumed through a normal balanced vegan diet.0 -
