I'm new to diligently tracking. As my weight decreases, will my calorie target automatically decrease as well?

It will not automatically decrease. You have to go to your diet profile and update your goals, and it will then change it for you new weight. They recommend every 10 pounds or so.
However, remember that as you lose weight, you should also slow your rate of loss. So while your calories will initially go down because your BMR is lower when you weigh less, you should also slow your rate of loss as you get closer to your goal which will allow for a higher calorie intake.2 -
Thanks Mike. Sounds like they should have an automated option0
