Seated workouts are a good place to start, be careful though it's tempting to go back to exercising full throttle too soon and wind up doing more damage than good and ending up out of action even longer than if you had just rested up. If you haven't already, ask to be referred to a physio.

I've never broken my foot but I have sprained my ankle and had torn ligaments and for years I ended up with a very weak ankle because I tried to do too much to soon. I was like bambi for a long time so would definitely caution against doing too much.

How about walking if your dr okays it.
I broke my ankle ice skating when I was 11. I was on crutches for 4 months, it was a lifetime ago, I’m 67 now. It was a lot different back then regarding treatment for breaks. It’s been weak ever since. Numerous sprains over the years, one really bad sprain.
Play it safe and consult with your doctor.
