Hi All.
I have managed to loose a stone at hit what I believe to be a good weight for me. I am 5'3 and now way 8 stone 7lbs. However I still have a lot of body, around my abdominals in particular.
I go to the gym most days for about 45 mins and have recently started using the weight machines (leg press etc)
I am currently in a calorie deficit eating around 12-1300 calories a day and don't always eat back any burned off during exercise
My question is...in order to looses this body fat do I need to up my cals in order to build more muscle from the strenght training I'm doing or keep in a deficit while still using the weight machines?
Thanks

Yes! Increase your calories! Especially your protein, this will allow you to build more muscle mass and reduce body fat at the same time. The big thing here is to begin weight lifting, it allows you to add muscle and that will be the best way to lose body fat!1

I have just started a class at the gym that invokes various weight exercises as I am clueless.
