Loosing weight

Hello All,

My name is Karan, I’m almost 5 months old user of MyFitnessPal and I’ve been working diligently on loosing weight. I’m purely vegetarian ( mostly rely on tofu/ soya , lentils , beans and eggs.

Goal - to be at 175 lbs

My height 5’ 11” I wieghed 200 lbs in nov 2018 and by Jan 2019 I’m at 195lbs. Since then I’m not loosing any weight & don’t know y? Not sure what I’m i doing wrong?

Based on my weight and height -my fitness pal suggested me to consume only 1720 calories each day to loose 1lb each week. Most of time I’m deficit in my calories as I do cardio ( 2-4 times a week) and weight training ( once a week). So at lest I do 3 workouts each week minimum. People say I lost weight but I only lost 5 lbs in 4 months.

Please advise if you know I’m doing something wrong!

    You may not actually be at a deficit most of the time like you think you are. Are you accurately keeping track of your calories?

    @Pour_Decisions - Yes I do track all the calorie intake... I hope it’s all accurate! I scan the food labels / or from their websites for ex: if I eat chipotle then I scan the calories from their website. Most of the time im conservative . So there is no way I could go wrong in tracking calories

    @JustPassingTime - Gotchya.... Difnetly need to drop that extra O. I weigh about 195lbs.
