Netting 1500 cals

I am a 21 year old woman 225lbs/5’7
I have my goal set at not active because I workout in the morning and burn roughly 300 calories but other than that I am at home with my toddler. It says I should eat 1800 a day. So if I am technically netting 1500 is that a good amount? I really want to lose weight but I do not want to go into starvation mode. Thanks everyone.

MFP is built for you to eat the exercise calories so no it is not good to net 1500. eat those exercise calories. if you are not sure they are accurately calculated you could eat half or three quarters to start.
about exercise calories:

starvation mode in the sense you mean it doesn't exist (the phenomenon exist but it won't stop weight loss).

You are underesting by 300 per day. MFP already accounts for the deficit you need when it gives you 1800.2

If you're chasing a toddler around, you may not actually be in the lowest activity category, either. If you told MFP your weight loss goal (X pounds or kg a week), eat all the calories it gives you, plus a reasonable amount of your exercise calories.
Not because "starvation mode" (in the sense of "your body holding onto fat") is real because it isn't . . . but because keeping good health, strength and energy level while achieving your weight loss goals is really important, when you're mom to an adorable toddler like the one in your profile photo!
Best wishes!3
