OK so. Every time I workout it completely kills my appetite. Now my question is.... If I'm working out closer to the evening time and the only meal left is dinner.... Is it really that important to eat that meal or can I skip it...???? Will I go into starvation mode??? Should i just snack??? Any opinion will help thanks feel free to add me

Working out can temporarily suppress appetite, yes. Eat to target and stick with the plan.0

I struggle with this too. I can't eat at least 2 hours before I work out or I feel like I will throw up. After I workout the thought of food makes me sick! This is the reason I can't make my calories most days. I typically work out twice a day.
I'm working on it though.... :-)0 -

working out makes me ravenous! i work out first thing in the morning and then the rest of the day is about refueling my body. if i work out in the evening, i have to wait a while after i eat or else it makes me feel kinda sick.0

Only thing I have after I workout is a protein smoothie. My gym has a smoothie bar. I can't really eat because I workout late in the evening 8-10pm and I'm just not hungry for the next couple hours. I find the protein smoothie is light enough on my stomach it doesn't bother me.
Now about 4 hours after I workout I always get a craving for a PB&J sandwich... Trying to curve that as I normally would crash/fall asleep after eating it.0 -
Sweaty cardio seems to kill my appetite for an hour or so. Weights or walking don't seem to have the same effect. I just eat dinner very late nowadays. If it doesn't leave you feeling deprived I don't see why skipping dinner or just having a light snack would be a problem if you are meeting your macro needs.0

Working out - that is cardio work outs -always kill my appetite. I can go on the rowing machine for 30 minutes and I will not be hungry for 1 to 1.5 hours - and that is even if I have not eaten in 4 hours. Doing this just before bed is an interesting tactic - never tried it. I usually time my workouts to about 2 hours before mealtime. This seems to work for me. One thing I have noticed, while there may be some general trends, everyone is different and you have to find what works for you.0

If you want to skip dinner due to having no appetite just try to increase the size of your other meals to compensate. It doesn't matter when you eat, in my experience, just that the goal is met or at least close.0

Thank you everyone! Your advice is truly appreciated!0

cardio makes me crazy hungry.
I don't see the trouble in skipping that meal as long as you are eating enough before it.0 -

I agree with this. Don't skip diner because it's night, it doesn't make a difference when you eat. I think you could try protein shake, good to refuel the muscles and not something heavy.0
