I work at a daycare and am the only provider for 2 to 3 kids from 8 to 5pm, I don't get to sit down more than a minute and get a 1 hr break to sit and eat during the day, I go outside with the kids and lift them and dance with them, even crawl. I tried eating 1200 calories a day and I get so ravonously hungry I could eat an entire cow. My bmr is 1400 but I keep eating 1600 each day just to feel ok. Am I burning more calories than that? Will I still lose weight if I eat at 1600?

What did you set your activity level for when you started with MFP? You are likely "active" at the very least. If your BMR is 1400, that means your maintenence would be at least 2240. So to lose 1 pound a week, your goal should be 1740. You should not be eating only 1200. That is too low. You can eat at least 1600.

Thank you. Yes I have been eating at least 2400 calories since this post and havent gained an ounce. So this must be right. I will try 1600 for a week and see what happens.

You don't need to drop so many calories, 1900 should give you 1lb per week weight loss.
