Because it's a limit, not a goal. And it's not a percentage of your diet like protein, carbs and fat are.0 -
^^^This is true. Just seems like you would need or be able to consume more if you were sweating a lot. I just need to get over my sodium obsession lol.0

I think the experts have already taken into account how much salt you may loose through sweating when they work out the daily maximum salt intake. I doubt it's that much anyway.0
